TANELORN WARGAMES CLUB (NEW)

We who are about to play, salute you!
Tanelorn were present at Salute 2011 with our Warmachine participation table pitting one heavy jack from four factions (Cygnar, Khador, Mercenaries and Retribution) against four Helljacks protecting a nefarious Cryxian mine. It was first come, first served as the first heavy to reach the mine claimed victory. Great fun was had by all, including both young and old players, with the Cygnar and Khador 'jacks having a better run of it. Suffice to say Cryx lost every game! Better luck next time deadbeats!

This game isn't just broken, its shattered.
March saw the end of the first leg of Privateer Press' shattered grounds league play out in the club. After five weeks of hard fought battle, the dust settled, leaving Nick Roberts and his Khador standing (a mere one point) clear of his foes. Commiserations to Chris Wood who was abandoned by the dice gods in the final round of the mini tournament that ended the league.

The club's 8 player, 3 game event went off swimmingly. Congratulations to Ed for winning the event with Cryx and well done mate.

2nd was Rich (Trolls) Grim, Earthborn, Mulg, Mualer.

3rd was Andy (Magnus) pMagnus, Nomad, Mule, Mangler, Talon, Vanguard.

4th was Jon (Cryx) pGaspy, Canker, Deathripper, Ripjaw, Slayer, Reaper, Stalker.

5th was Phil (Legion) eLylyth, Ravagore, Ravagore, Nephalim Bolt-thrower, Shredder, Shredder.

6th was Nigel (Cryx) Morty, Reaper, Reaper, Seether, Slayer.

Exactly what it says on the tin!

Lets hope 2011 is a good one for the club in terms of gaming and people.

On Jan 8/9 5 of us from Tanelorn went up to Maelstrom's Double Penetration tournament - a doubles event. It was a great event and lots of fun had by all.

Final positions saw John Snape (and John Dale who has visited Tanelorn once), in 1st position using pDenny and Rasheth.

In 3rd place were Tanelorn boys Des Brennan and Aaron Boyhan and in a respectable 8th place were Nick Roberts and Conrad EJ Gonsalves.
